Is it possible to create a source montage for MEG using MNE-Python?

there is no trivial way to do this but you can make a custom so called
"discrete source space"
with this function.
Sorry we don't have an example yet of how to do this.
I presume you have EEG data on a template EEG montage?

Thanks for your answer. No actually it?s MEG-data. Wouldn?t such a discrete source space consist of very many sources and thus be a bit impractical to work with?

no the discrete source space contains what you want. You can specify the dipoles
you want by their positions.
