Hi All,

I have been utilizing the MNE Coregistration GUI for aligning MEG data with MRI scans. My digitization process includes facial points. During the fitting of fiducials and ICP algorithm, I observe various point colors in the interface as seen in the following image:

parameters for the above fit:

Could someone please clarify what do the following colours signify :
lighter shade of Green
Dark shade of Green
White

Additionally, which color distribution indicates an optimal fit? Are there other factors I should consider to check the quality of the coregistration accurately?

There are separate colors for fiducials, hpi coils, eeg electrodes and extra digitized points. I can’t remember the colors for the 3 first (and I’m color blind so naming is always an issue), but the extra digitized points are in white.

I think the light-green one is the nasion, and the dark-green ones are dig points located below the head surface.
