Since MNE-Python 1.2, OpenMEEG can be used to generate a BEM solution and to derive the forward model. When would I want to choose this option if I’m only working with EEG and MEG data (no iEEG)? Would it even matter in that case? I didn’t find any help on this in the documentation.
