Theta is lower then Alpha

I built an EEG with dry electrode - some times I get TETA
lower then alfa
does someone have a solution ?

Hi @kidoom this forum is intended for support for analysis of EEG data using MNE-Python. If you built hardware that is not behaving as expected, I recommend you turn to other forums that have a corresponding topical focus. Perhaps this one → OpenBCI Forum

If however you are talking about EEG analysis using MNE-Python, please provide a code snippet of what you are doing and more context for people to properly respond. Here are some questions to show you what is unclear:

  • Why do you expect theta power to be higher than alpha power (or vice versa)
  • How (in which kind of task) did you record your data
  • What are the exact analysis steps that you used
  • Do you think your “home built” (?) dry electrode EEG equipment has something to do with this?
