I’m a biomedical engineering professor, and one of my students needs to work under my supervision on a two-month project (with 15 hours per week of dedication).
I want the project to be a contribution to the MNE-Python project. Ideally, I would like the project to end in a pull request, but that is not a hard requirement.
The student is familiar with classic digital signal processing techniques, although not with the particulars of EEG processing (one of his interests is to become more familiar with EEG processing techniques). For this reason, it would be ideal if the project is related to this topic.
¿Can you recommend me a project for the student to work on?
One project that seems to hit all these requirements is implementing some power line filtering algorithms, as described in issue 7170. However, there appears to be some work advanced in this regard, so I wonder if this is a good idea.
I’ve also looked into the issues labeled “enhancements”, but I have a hard time finding a good issue to work on that meets the above criteria.
Any comments are welcome.
