Reading in a 3-layer spherical head model with a fitted dipole

Hi, new to MNE-python so not sure of what its limitations are.
I’m trying to read in a blank spherical head model while placing one or multiple dipoles on it. When looking at dipole fitting tutorials, they all seem to involve fitting it to data. Is there a way to create an empty model to read in where I can then place a dipole or multitple, and then have sensors read the field, getting a leadfield matrix, that will be caused by that dipole?
