mne coreg

External Email - Use Caution

Dear MNE users,

I'm trying to use mne coreg but I'm not able to push the "Fit ###" buttons
(see fig).

I activated the mne enviroment and type mne coreg.
After I define the fiducials and load the raw files the fit buttons
are still not clickable.

Thanks for any help!
best,
Annalisa

Hii,

Did you check the MRI reconstruction properly? Maybe you should try to use
another subject just to make sure it's not a reconstruction issue.

Best,
Dip

Hi Annalisa,

There seems to be an order for doing things in mne coreg that will unlock the fit buttons. I have found that, for whatever reason, loading the digitization source first, then selecting the MRI and fiducials, seems to work. I?m not sure if that quirk is unique to my set up, but something to try if you haven?t already.

Best,
Josh

Hi Josh,

thks but it doesn't work for me.

Looking better it seems to me a problem related to the conversion
from ds to fif.

Probably it's a problem related to some old files I have.

Thks!
Best,
Annalisa

hi,

please share a folder if you want us to test.

I would investigate if info['dig'] and info['chs'] are properly populated?

does your GUI work when you use the MNE sample dataset?

Alex

Hi Alex,

I checked and I had some old files where the digitization points
were written in a wrong way during the conversion.

I converted again from ds to fif and now the GUI works.

Thks,
best
Annalisa
