Making MRI-MEG coregistration of HCP data using MNE-python during source reconstruction

Dear all,

Here when I’m dealing with the MEG data from HCP dataset, I met one problem in MEG-MRI coregistration step.

As you can see, fig.1 is an example of the unprocessed MEG data I downloaded from human connectomeDB dataset , and it doesn’t conclude the hs_file which can tell the digitization information.

In fig.2, MEG-MRI coregistrions cannot be done due to the lack of digitization info. from MEG data, which leads to the fail of my source reconstruction using mne-python.

Do you have any idea or suggestions for me? I would be really grateful for your help, THX. :love_you_gesture:

@Sandy - there is a project developed by the MNE team that integrates the HCP data into MNE. This will provide access to the coregistration and allow you to do forward modelling etc: MNE-HCP — MNE-HCP 0.1.dev12 documentation

I don’t think that the headshape was provided with the HCP data due to risk of possible identifying information.
