Human Connectome Project (HCP) coregistration difficulties

Hi,

I’ve been trying to coregister MEG data from the HCP to structural MRIs. As others have pointed out, the MNE HCP package has not been updated in a while and does not seem to work anymore, so I’ve been trying to find an interim solution by cannibalizing parts of its code.

I’m getting stuck however with the conversion to RAS coordinates. MNE HCP uses a c_ras.mat file for this, but I do not seem to have that file anywhere in the HCP data; not in the structural MRIs, and also not in the Anatomy files intended to assist with coregistration. Does it still exist in the latest version of the HCP data?

I don’t know. Looking on the web I find some discussion on fieldtrip and freesurfer mailing lists about
files c_ras.mat being missing.

I haven’t been able to find those myself through googling. Did they reach any resolution?
