Hi MNE-Python Team,

My name is Ghinwa, and I am a developer currently studying Python and AI at Paper Airplanes. I am very excited about the possibility of participating in GSoC 2026 with MNE-Python.

I have been exploring your project ideas and I am particularly interested in ‘Improve doc interactivity’. I believe that making documentation more interactive is a great way to help users understand complex data analysis, and it aligns well with my interest in building user-friendly AI dashboards.

I am already looking into the installation instructions and the contribution guide. I would appreciate any initial advice on how to start contributing to the documentation tools or if there are any ‘good first issues’ related to this project that I should check out.

Hi everyone,

I am following up on my previous post. I have significantly refined my proposal for the “Automated EEG Artifact Detection” project, adding more technical details on the CNN architecture and including visualizations from my initial tests with MNE-Python.
