Google Summer of Code blog

Hi all,

I am Britta Westner and this year's Google Summer of Code student with
MNE-Python, working on the beamformer code and implementing the Hilbert
beamformer.

During the Summer of Code, I maintain a blog which will regularly be
updated:
http://brittas-summerofcode.blogspot.de/

The latest blog post is about the external validation of LCMV beamformer
output (and of the newly implemented unit-noise-gain option), by
comparing MNE-Python output to FieldTrip results. Enjoy reading!

Cheers,
Britta

hi Britta,

congrats !

great to see such agreements between Fieldtrip and MNE beamformer
implementations.

keep on the good work.

Alex

Hi Britta,

congrats too from my side! This is neat work and I am very glad to see that
our methods match that tightly.
I hope throughout this GSOC we will be able to refine our beamforming code
and achieve a better understanding of which contributions to the final
solution is due to preprocessing options and which is due to the algorithms.

Looking forward to seeing more soon,
Denis

Hi Britta,

Greetings from the Aalto beamformer team. Nice work! We?ll be reading your blog for sure.

Marijn.
