generate_sparse_stc dipole orientation?

Hello,

Does anyone know the dipole orientation used by generate_sparse_stc? I am trying to test the performance of the sparse localizers by simulating a known system at a small number of dipoles, projecting them onto the sensor array via apply_forward, and then resolving the known system. I don't know what I should expect the solved dipole orientations to be, or how to set up the localizer accordingly.

    Thank you,

Per Lysne
