I mean, is there any predefined functions or modules available in MNE to select the best channels from the given set of channels using statistical or some other methods.
What do you mean by the ‘best’ channel?
Channel that contributes more to classification accuracy
None that I know of. What you could do is try to narrow things down using a leave-one-out approach for the channels, but that will require manual coding and may take considerable amounts of computation time, depending on the input data.
