EEG analysis steps?

Hi,

I am a student and I am totally new to the area of EEG analysis. I have data for various subjects, and I want to do some analysis on a subset of those subjects to check whether there is common behavior among those subjects. I want to find out, in particular, which channels and frequency bands would be more accurate to use when training a deep model to recognize a task.

Could someone please provide me the needed steps to do that, in addition to some MNE code references?
