My name is Bruno, I am PhD student, and I am working with Alexandre Gramfort
We are planning a code sprint for the braindecode library for release. The MNE library + Pytorch. In the last code sprint, two years ago, we used the mne discord to partially organize the code sprint, and they recommended using it again but trying to engage the community as much as possible.
I donβt see any problem with us sharing our discord but @drammock does more of the admin there so heβd have a better idea.
For engaging the community we could create a sticky post/announcement here if that would help. Other than that I usually ask @agramfort how to engage the community better
happy to facilitate using MNE Discord for the sprint. @bruAristimunha if you ping me on Discord we can discuss permissions, rooms, etc. For community involvement, the best I can say is (1) give people plenty of advance notice about the dates/times, and (2) try to incentivize participation (e.g. offer tutorials to get people started; some MNE users may not have used PyTorch before)
