Source space vs SourceEstimate morphing

Hi,

This page explains morphing and averaging;
https://martinos.org/mne/stable/manual/source_localization/morph.html#the-morphing-maps

But is this "source space morphing" or "SourceEstimate morphing"? I don't
understand the difference, which seems to be implied here:

https://martinos.org/mne/stable/auto_examples/forward/plot_source_space_morphing.html

Thanks,
Ade

Forward modeling — MNE 1.6.0 documentation
plot_source_space_morphing.html

if you use SourceEstimate morphing you make a source space for the
individual subject
you consider based on this cortex mesh. then you get a source estimate you
need to
transport / morph to a template brain eg fsaverage.

if you use source space morphing then you use the mapping between fsaverage
and the
subject to make a source space that has a definition in the fsaverage brain.
it makes subsequent source estimate morphing unecessary.

hope this helps
Alex
