Sign values from TF-MxNE solver or irMxNE solver

External Email - Use Caution

Hi all,

Do you know if its possible to keep the sign values (both positive and
negatives values) while performing source localization using TF-MxNE solver
or irMxNE solver?

I have tried with the parameter called: (pick_ori='normal') while
calculating the dSPM solution to use it as the weight for TF-MxNE solver or
irMxNE solver. But, I am always getting absolute amplitudes for the dipoles
in return.

Is there any way to get the activated dipoles with both positive and
negative amplitudes?

Regards,
Dip

hi Dip,

this is so far not implemented if you pass a forward with free orientation.
You would need to pass a forward with forced_fixed orientation.

can you open issue so we can follow up on this?

thanks
