I would like to find out if I can coregister the head coordinate frame with the device coordinate frame without cHPI information.
For one session of MEG rest recording, due to concurrent DBS, the HPI coils are corrupted and so i do not have any head position information or dev_head_transformation information (raw.info[‘dev_head_t’] is empty).
However, I do I have the HPI coil location in head frame, as well as EEG sensors. While it will not be accurate source estimation, could i create a dummy variable so as to perform Maxfilter in MNE python?
