We are seeking a talented and motivated postdoctoral researcher and a PhD student to join our interdisciplinary team at Aarhus University in Denmark.
This Lundbeck Foundation-funded project will further develop optically pumped magnetometry (OPM) for fetal magnetoencephalography (MEG). The projects will involve:

Measure fetal auditory and visual responses through novel stimulus paradigms in the third trimester of pregnancy

Assess fetal sensory responses in a high-risk pregnancy group

Advanced signal processing using individualized models derived from 3D fetal ultrasound
Both positions will involve collaboration with Lars Henning Pedersen, our clinical partner at Aarhus University, and Ana Namburete, an ultrasound image processing expert at Oxford.
Qualifications:

degree in neuroscience, cognitive science, biomedical engineering, physics, medicine, or a related field [bachelor’s or master’s level for the PhD position; PhD or MD for the postdoc position]

Experience with biomedical signal/image processing or machine learning is highly desirable

Scientific programming experience with Python and/or Matlab

Interest in translational research and developmental neuroscience
