I have a problem with the position of the electrodes. In the montage of the electrodes, eight of the sensors are overlapping in the middle and i can’t continue with the pre-processing. How can i setting the positions of the sensors without losing information? The sensors that overlapping are the electrodes installed in the face of the subjects (close to eyes and mastoids, external electrodes).
Hello, these electrodes probably are not part of the montage you applied via set_montage(), or if you’re not using a template montage, their location was probably never measured.
Since apparently these are not EEG electrodes (or were at least not meant to capture EEG signals), you should set their channel type correctly to something that’s non-EEG, or simply drop them from the dataset before processing if you don’t need them.
