mne_edf2fiff available in mne-python?

Thank you so much for your help-unfortunately I'm attempting to run a
Windows-only system here, and it seems that I need a Unix installation to
run the native mne version.

Teon, I would be thrilled to see an EDF converter in python, when you get
around to it!

indeed. You'll need a unix systems if you want to exploit the full MNE pipeline
up to source localization. You have no other choice for computing the forward
problem. For sensor space data analysis you can do everything with Python.
