Does anyone know whether there are any developments of an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for mne-python?
More generally, I would be interested to know how the mne commuinty is keeping up with recent developments related agentic-AI.

Thanks for asking. We’re currently discussing a policy on AI use. Personally, I agree that an MCP server would be extremely useful for MNE users, but we haven’t reached a consensus on the broader topic yet.
Thanks. Let’s keep updated. I am developping an agent for Brain Interaction Analysis (Braina) with an MCP server for our packages Frites and HOI. It may be interesting to join forces with mne community.
