I have a question regarding combining sensor types in source estimation. I understand that the mags and grads become correlated with each other during Maxwell filtering; however, I’m not quite sure how the two sensor types are weighted/combined when it comes to source estimation. Also, at what point during a standard pipeline does this occur? (e.g. creation of inverse operator, application of inv operator, etc.) Any help would be greatly appreciated!
