Hello everyone. My name is Gwen Frank, and I wanted to share an opportunity to participate in a new research project aimed at creating a large, openly available resource of expertly annotated EEG data. Contributors will receive authorship on the resulting publication and possibly win an iPad.
The study is led by me with senior faculty Robert Oostenveld and Arnaud Delorme. EEG researchers contribute by annotating datasets through an online platform, and the resulting resource will be released without embargo as a shared benchmark to support method comparison, machine learning, and reproducible EEG research.
This project is a sub-action of the European Cooperation in Science and Technology CA24161, Improving Neuroimaging Data for Sharing (INDoS), within the working group on quality assessment and quality control. The data collection effort was reviewed by the UCSD IRB (protocol #812508) and determined to be exempt.
