How to extract digitization source .fif file from .bdf

Dear experts:

I am working with data downloaded from https://openneuro.org/. Therefore I don?t have all the original files from the EEG. I guess though that any file can be analyzed from this data. How am I supposed to do this from .bdf file to obtain the fif file required in mne coreg to obtain the -trans.fif file.

hi,

do your BDF files come with MRI and individual channel locations?

if not you must use a template montage file and coregistration is not
necessary.
