Hi everyone,
My name is Saksham Bansal. I am a 3rd-year B.Tech (CSE) student with a strong interest in AI and full-stack development. I’m excited to participate in GSoC 2025 with MNE-Python under the Python Software Foundation.
I have experience with Python and have worked on AI-powered projects, including a Sign Language Interpretation System for the Google Solution Challenge. I’ve also done an internship in data visualization.
I’m particularly interested in the project to improve interoperability with Braindecode because it aligns with my goal of working at the intersection of AI and neural data processing.
I’ve already set up the MNE and Braindecode environments and have explored loading and processing sample EEG/MEG data. I would love to discuss potential issues and get guidance on how to make my first contribution.
