I am working with a nirx fnirs device (Nirsport2).
I am not sure how to convert triggers files (.tri) to annotations or event files, and I wonder whether other nirx users had this problem and what did they do. The problem is that the triggers files contain timestamps of the triggers, but annotations and events files are working with relative time. I don’t know what is the time stamp of the first recording point, so I don’t know how to calculate the relative time of the events.
Currently, the files are automatically read as annotations, but the onset of all events is 0.
The triggers are manually sent by the operator by pressing specific keyboards during the session.
Here is an example taken from a trigger file (time stamp and the trigger type):
2022-12-27T13:19:51.331000;0000;1
2022-12-27T13:20:49.453000;0000;1
