Error message "Desired visual not found" when attempting to run mne_analyze

Hello,

I'm trying to run mne_analyze on a fedora core 6 system. I was missing
libXm.so.3, but I installed openmotif-2.2.3-10, and now I'm getting
the error message: Desired visual not found.

Thanks,

Justin Ales

Hi Justin,

That might be the problem. I'm running it over a VNC connection.
I've got tksurfer and glxgears working.
Here's the output of glxinfo:

What happens if you add the -depth 24 option when you start
vncserver, i.e.,

vncserver :<display> -depth 24

- Matti

That worked.

Thanks!
