Edit raw signal values for algorithm validation

Hi, I’m trying to validate an algorithm based on EEG connectivity. In order to do that, I would like to analyze some sine waves with variable phase so I can get values of connectivity of 0 and 1 when using wPLI and Coherence.

Is there a way to edit my edf or fif files so I can add a sine wave or 0’s and 1’s in a channel?
If not, how could I validate connectivity with synthetic signals?
