Anyone have info on EMSA EEG data file formats?

EMSA files are produced by Equipamentos Médicos Ltda. EEG systems.
They are sets of multiple files for each exam.
Channel data is stored in the .PLG files.
Annotations are supposedly saved in the .LBK files, but in my datasets these files are empty.
The .GRF files seem to have some sort of annotation data, but I haven’t been able to decode it yet.

The annotations above are from a sleep study.
I’ve looked at the source code for the EDFBrowser which purports to convert EMSA to EDF, including annotations, but the EDF files do not have annotations when I view them, and the code indicates it is extracting annotations from the LBK files.
I would appreciate any assistance!

Maybe @Teuniz (the author of EDFBrowser) can help you?

EDFbrowser’s EMSA to EDF converter expects the annotations in the .lbk file.
I have no info about the .grf file. Until now, I have never heard about it.
Could be something new, the converter was written in 2009.
Wy don’t you contact the manufacturer?

I assume their format is cryptic for a reason, but I sent them a message.
Thanks

I emailed their support and they said to use your utility :person_shrugging:

Are you sure those .grf files are produced by the EMSA recorder?
I would ask the person responsible for the dataset about those .grf files what they are, and which equipment/software produced them.
