Hello!
i have problems with setting electrode locations.

My code is:
montage = ‘standard\_1020’
raw.set\_montage(montage)

and the error is:
ValueError: DigMontage is only a subset of info. There are 16 channel positions not present in the DigMontage. The channels missing from the montage are:

[‘L\_Mast-0’, ‘R\_Mast-0’, ‘L\_Sup-0’, ‘R\_Sup-0’, ‘L\_Lat-0’, ‘R\_Lat-0’, ‘L\_Inf-0’, ‘R\_Inf-0’, ‘L\_Mast-1’, ‘R\_Mast-1’, ‘L\_Sup-1’, ‘R\_Sup-1’, ‘L\_Lat-1’, ‘R\_Lat-1’, ‘L\_Inf-1’, ‘R\_Inf-1’].

Consider using inst.rename\_channels to match the montage nomenclature, or inst.set\_channel\_types if these are not EEG channels, or use the on\_missing parameter if the channel positions are allowed to be unknown in your analyses.

I dont know what is this, help please!
Thanks

Hello, those channel names are not part of the 10-20 system and hence you cannot use them with the 10-20 template montage in MNE (unless you rename the channels). If you have a montage file supplied by the cap manufacturer, or digitized sensor locations, you can use those with MNE …
