I’m following the tutorial to get the EEG forward operator with a template MRI, and I was wondering if it’s possible to control the number of source points (in the one available they are 20484). Is there another model that can be used with fewer sources (the one we were using on another software had around 5000) as a huge number would inflate multiple comparisons issues.

Thank you for your support

Hello, MNE provides a few meshes with different numbers of sources. Have a look at [The typical M/EEG workflow — MNE 0.24.1 documentation](https://mne.tools/stable/overview/cookbook.html#setting-up-the-source-space)

Best wishes,
Richard
