# might be typo in MNE coordinates system doc

Hi, I was reading the doc [Algorithms and other implementation details — MNE 0.24.1 documentation](https://mne.tools/stable/overview/implementation.html?highlight=coordinates#coordinate-system-figure)

From the context below, I suppose that the **MRI Talairach coordinates** should be **MNI Talairach coordinates**?

To my knowledge, that’s just copied from Freesurfer and maybe also the Talairach coordinate system webpage. Saying MNI is nice because it makes that equivalence specific but it’s not wrong to say MRI either.
