# loading .cnt file from Neuroscan

Hello everyone,

I am completely new to the MNE as such so please forgive me if this  
question sounds really basic to most of you.

I am trying to analyse a data from Neuroscan using the .cnt file but i am  
not able to find the right input command to load the file. Even in the  
tutorials or in the website as a whole, I could not find instructions  
anywhere regarding neuroscan files at all. I just wanted to know if the MNE  
platform not compatible for neuroscan formats or if I am doing something  
wrong.

It would be really helpful if someone can direct me towards a solution for  
this

Hi Anoop,

This is not supported at the moment. But we do plan to support it in the  
future. Can you open an issue on GitHub:  
[https://github.com/mne-tools/mne-python/issues](https://github.com/mne-tools/mne-python/issues) so that we can discuss the  
API details?
