# Late to the chat for GSoC, proposal help

I am Jayant Benjamin, from Michigan State University.

Dear Benjamin,

we have already 4 solid applications in the pipeline coming from previous  
contributors to mne-python. I therefore suggest you reconsider next year  
and I encourage you to submit a few PRs this year to increase your chances.
