# How to get skull surface

Hello Team,

I am trying to get the surface of skull, can you help me how should i get it. I am trying to get it through command "mri\_make\_bem\_surfaces" in Freesurfer but it cannot file the COR files, how to i get or generate these files.

Hi Ritesh,

The scripts in MNE-C employ mri\_make\_bem\_surfaces to create the surfaces from BEM given multi-echo FLASH images. The process is described in detail in Section A.2 of the MNE PDF manual.

Thanks for your response.

I am just looking for the skull surface, How do i get this? I have gone through "mri\_make\_bem\_surfaces", how do i generate the multi-echo FLASH images from bert data set. Or is there any other way to generate the skull surface. Can you help me out with some example?
